Cafe Corner: Drink Shop Do

I've been down in London this past week, my friend got me tickets to see Taking Back Sunday for Christmas so I went down for a few days to hang out & soak up the city! I got the chance to visit one of my favourite ever cafe/bar/hangspots, and thought it would be the perfect place to feature in my first Cafe Corner!

The place is Drink Shop Do, just a few minutes from Kings Cross Station, so the perfect place to meet someone for a coffee and some cake (and possibly a cheeky cocktail) before a train! I met my friend Katy, an old housemate, there on Friday morning before my train back up to Leeds and it was just as lovely as ever!

So handy! I believe they have also just started a take-away side business selling frozen yogurt and coffee :) This week I decided to have some of their fabulous rosewater, pistachio and raspberry cake, and a latte.

The cake was yummy, lovely and fruity, and the coffee was excellent. My friend had the same cake and some 'Alice In Wonderland' tea (they have an excellent selection of specialist teas too).

The whole place is decorated so cute, with vintage furniture and crockery. They have a small shop that sells cool cards, wrapping paper, jewellery and other neat bits and pieces from small designer/makers.
